ANN AYLI FURRER, LPC
Individual Therapy, Couples Therapy, Family Therapy, and Group Therapy
Ann has experience with individual, couples, family, and group therapy and has worked with a broad range of diagnoses including anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, personality disorders, mood disorders, bipolar, ADHD, and an autistic spectrum disorder.
I am an integrative psychotherapist with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. My approach is tailored to the uniqueness of each individual, as I believe there is no one-size-fits-all solution in therapy. I meet clients where they are in their journey and work collaboratively to guide them toward a sense of calm, satisfaction, and inner peace.
I have extensive experience working with a wide range of diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, personality and mood disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder. I offer individual, couples, family, and group therapy, adapting my therapeutic techniques to meet each client’s specific needs and goals.
My specialties include Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). The foundation of my practice is built on empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity, which are key principles of the person-centered approach. For individuals dealing with negative thought patterns or emotional regulation challenges, I incorporate evidence-based CBT and DBT techniques with great success.
I have worked across various settings, including private practice, intensive outpatient programs, partial hospitalization, transitional homes, and in-home therapy, allowing me to bring a well-rounded perspective to my practice.
