I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in healthcare. My journey began as a Registered Nurse in 2006, working across various medical settings, including the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Department (ED), Telemetry, and as a Rapid Response Nurse. These experiences provided me with a comprehensive medical background that I bring to my psychiatric practice.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jersey City University and my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Rutgers University. I transitioned my focus to psychiatry and have since gained extensive experience working in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, treating a wide range of mental health disorders such and substance use disorders.
My approach to care is centered on compassion, empathy, and collaboration. I strive to create a supportive and culturally sensitive environment where clients feel comfortable, heard, and understood. I believe in building strong therapeutic alliances based on trust and respect, and I work closely with clients to establish and achieve their treatment goals.
